Overview
Mental skills are critically important in tennis but are rarely trained. This session will help you to better develop your players by training mental skills and drills across concentration, control of emotion and communication in a practical on-court session.
Coaches – LTA Fully-Funded Mentoring
Part of the LTA Inclusion Strategy is to work towards having a coaching workforce that truly reflects our sport and the society of Great Britain.
The LTA Diversity & Inclusion Bursary Scheme aims to remove barriers and support underrepresented audiences in their personal and professional coaching journey, by accessing one-on-one mentoring sessions with an LTA Coach Mentor.
The LTA is particularly interested in receiving applications from over 18 and Accredited coaches, who are part of any or all of the following communities:
- Disabled people
- Females
- Ethnically diverse
NEW online course - Wheelchair Tennis: Building Tools and Confidence for Coaches
This course is aimed at coaches looking to develop and enhance their knowledge of wheelchair tennis. It equips coaches with the fundamental coaching principles, chair set-up considerations and appropriate maintenance and the tools to develop transformative wheelchair tennis programmes for players with physical impairments.

Upload your First Aid Certificate
If you have completed a valid first aid course but it is not showing in the Coach Secure Area, you can submit your certificate to the LTA for verification.
