Our County Cup teams recently travelled to Southsea (ladies) and Worthing (men’s) for Summer County Week.
The start of the week saw the teams having to play in extreme heat. Some very tough, close matches for the teams with all the men’s matches going to 5-4 with Dorset winning 2 and losing 3. The ladies won 3 of their matches, lost 1 with the final day’s matches not played due to heavy rain! Both teams will stay in their Groups, ladies Group 5, men Group 4.
A big shout out to the Team Captains, Rich Irwin and Emma Bennett and also to all the players for giving their time to represent the county.
