It was great to see so many coaches together at the Dorset Coach Forum.
The Forum, held at The West Hants Club, was led by Julie Jones, LTA Workforce Development Partner for our region with LTA Tutors delivering the on-court session.
A 2 hour on-court session focussed on tactical development at Red Stage involving sharing fun and engaging exercises. The coaches were challenged to work together to create more exercises that develop attacking, rallying and defending skills. The 1 1/2 hour off court session was around ‘developing yourself and your business’ where coaches shared how they strike a work/life balance, how they look after themselves and career/business development.
