The Dorset County Championships have taken place for another year.
An amazing week. Always fab to see juniors and adults from around the county come together at this annual event with matches played in good spirit and players showing great sportsmanship.
Congratulations to all the County Champions who were presented with their trophies and medals by Dorset LTA President John Feaver, former pro tennis player and Dorset’s Toby Samuel who made his debut at The Championships, Wimbledon this year in the men’s doubles event.
Well done and thank you to all those who competed. Big thanks also to all the volunteers, parents, referees and tournament organisers, David, Kieran, Diane and Donna, to The West Hants Club for hosting the event and to Victoria Avenue Tennis Club for saving the day on a very wet Thursday by giving us the use of the courts.
