A massive well done to our 11U Girls team who did themselves and the county proud at the 11U County Cup Finals.
Day 1
A day that started early and finished late, every one of the team gave it their all on court.
Coming back from 3-1 down in their first match of the day against Kent to a very close shootout showed great spirit and determination. Even better, the team put the disappointment of falling short by a couple of points behind them, with a convincing 5-1 against Cambridgeshire.
After a long day, the team enjoyed a fun team evening at Wagamamas.
Day 2
Another outstanding performance from the team who gave it their all against Surrey.
With the match event at 2-2 going into the doubles, the team battled hard but Surrey proved to be tough opposition and took the win 4-2.
A fun evening was had by all at Nando’s.
Day 3
Great team effort through some tough matches. The team gave it their all but Berkshire proved to be strong opposition and took the match 5-1.
A massive well done to the team who finished 6th in the country, a fantastic achievement, they did themselves and the county proud. Up against some top counties, they held their own, played some awesome tennis and supported each other every step of the way.
Lots of fun and laughter throughout the weekend, a fantastic experience for all.
