An Extraordinary General Meeting of Dorset LTA is being held on 24th June, 7 pm by Zoom.
The purpose of the meeting is to invite the members of Dorset LTA (who comprise the LTA registered venues in Dorset) to give approval for a change of entity to a Charitable Incorporated Organisation called Dorset Tennis and Padel.
AGENDA
1) to approve the draft constitution of the new organisation (copy can be obtained by contacting Nick Chapman, Hon Secretary – secretary@dorsetlta.co.uk
2) to empower the current Dorset LTA Executive Committee to set up the new organisation and close down the old one
3) to approve the first Officers, Trustees and Honorary President of the new Charitable Incorporated Organisation (see proposed list of Officers, Trustees and Honorary President of the new Charitable Incorporated Organisation below). We are looking to recruit two additional Trustees and would welcome any expressions of interest, particularly from women, to give the board a better gender balance.

All LTA registered tennis clubs in Dorset are entitled to be represented at the meeting and to cast a vote on the motions put forward to the meeting. An e-mail giving notification of the EGM has been sent to all members of Dorset LTA.
