The LTA are running two Primary School Teacher Training Courses in Dorset, in Dorchester on the 18th October and in Weymouth on the 1st November.
Who’s the course for – The course is open to those working within a primary school setting. More than one teacher from each school is welcome to access the training so please feel free to offer this out to colleagues.
Free – The course is funded by the tennis governing body, LTA
About the course– The course supports the LTA’s series of PE lesson plans and demonstrates how tennis can be delivered to a whole class of children in a small space and how it can be adapted and differentiated for all learners.
Teachers completing the course will receive a £250 voucher (limited to one per school), which can be used for either 10 hours of tennis coaching (within curriculum time) or tennis equipment.
Every teacher attending the course will receive a free pack including:
- Activity book with a range of ideas for warm-ups, activities and games
- Pupil achievement certificates and stickers
- Access to a range of videos and resources to support lessons and enrichment activities
