Our men’s O35’s were in action at the weekend, Friday, 12th to Sunday, 14th August at Devonshire Park Lawn Tennis Club for Over 35s County Cup.
First day saw the team up against Lancashire in sweltering conditions with Dorset winning 3-2. Saturday, it was Dorset v Suffolk which with one singles and two doubles wins, the team again finished the day with a 3-2 win.
There was all to play for on the final day v Yorkshire with a win securing promotion to Group 1 but with another day of some tough matches, the team lost 2-3 just missing out on moving up to Group 1.
