Very many congratulations to East Dorset LTCC legend Tim “Timbledon” Dean who won the O85 Men’s Grass Courts ITF Doubles title at Wimbledon with partner Derek Backhouse beating the number 1 seeds in the Final, 3-6, 6-2, 10-8 adding to his Seniors Clay Courts Championships doubles win earlier in the year at West Hants.
Congratulations also to Pauline Fisher on her O70s ladies doubles win with partner Shirley Fox and to Boyd Brackstone who made it to the Final of the Men’s O70s with partner Jasper Cooper also at The British Masters Grass Court Closed Championships at Wimbledon, 18th to 25th August 2024.
