Congratulations to The West Hants Club’s 12U Girls team, winners of the National League Premier Finals.
The Finals took place over 2 days with the team, Iraja, Grace, Daniella and Emily, up against Gosling in the semi finals on the Saturday with a convincing 4-1 win putting them through to the Final to be played the next day against the favourites Bolton Arena.
A nail biting Final which went to the wire! Team West Hants found themselves 3-2 down with a doubles match to play. Iraja and Daniella fought hard winning the match on a tie-break, 10-7. With the score now at 3-3, a doubles shootout had to be played. With all to play for, Daniella and Grace continued the fight for the team, winning the shootout 10-5! A fantastic result and a great achievement.
